About the IT Traineeship Program

A structured entry into the Health IT Industry

A full-time, paid, two-year traineeship combining formal study with hands-on experience in a production IT Support environment.

What You Will Learn

Core support skills and industry exposure

Trainees will undertake a Certificate III in Information Technology while gaining valuable real-world experience on our Helpdesk.

Role responsibilities

Studying for and completing the Certificate III in Information Technology

Managing IT Support cases through our Helpdesk system

Providing users with clear and professional technical guidance

Responding to support requests via phone and remote access

Diagnosing and resolving software-related issues

Performing software installations and updates

Following standard Helpdesk and administrative procedures

Participating in training, mentoring, and team activities

Full training and ongoing support will be provided throughout the program.

This traineeship is ideal for applicants who:

Have completed Year 10, 11, or 12 within the last 3 years
Have a demonstrated interest in computers and new technologies
Are motivated, reliable and punctual
Enjoy problem-solving and helping people
Willingness to learn new software, processes and procedures
No prior formal IT qualification is required

Paid training time

How training time is allocated during the traineeship

Working hours are allocated to approved training time, in line with award requirements.

Medical-Objects provides a dedicated minimum of 1 hour per week in our training room for trainees to work on coursework during paid work time.

Additional study and assessment activities may be completed during work hours or as agreed.

Training support is provided throughout the program as part of the traineeship.
